Six Nigerians Freed After Months in Ivorian Prison

The Ministry also expressed appreciation to the Government of Côte d'Ivoire for its cooperation in resolving the matter.

The Nigerian Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, Nwabiola Ezenwa, has been serving in her position since 2022. She is a seasoned diplomat with a long history of representing Nigeria's interests abroad. Ambassador Ezenwa's efforts have been instrumental in securing the release of the six Nigerians.

The Ministry urged Nigerians traveling or residing abroad to obey the laws of their host countries and maintain regular contact with the nearest Nigerian diplomatic or consular mission to facilitate assistance whenever necessary.
