Opro News respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.
If you are a rights holder
If you believe content on Opro News (website or mobile app) infringes your copyright, please send a takedown request to [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright Takedown". We review and act on valid requests promptly, typically within a few business days.
What to include
- Your full name and contact details (email, and a phone number if available).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on Opro News where the material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Our response
On receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material in question and make a reasonable effort to notify the relevant party. We may also remove material proactively where a source requests it or where we believe attribution is insufficient.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
