Adeboye recalled Ali's tactics, including how the boxer would insult his opponents before a fight to unsettle them. He said this approach illustrated the importance of strategy and preparation in overcoming challenges. Adeboye also noted that Ali's experience reinforced his belief in the value of good coaching.

The pastor urged Christians to maintain a close relationship with God, saying divine wisdom is essential for overcoming life's challenges. He emphasized the need for believers to persevere in prayer and faith, even when faced with difficulties.

Adeboye also drew a distinction between friendship and mentorship, saying a good mentor knows how to push their mentee beyond their current capabilities to help them grow. He noted that Jesus Christ is the ultimate coach, who inspires and guides believers to become champions in life.

In reflection on his own boxing days, Adeboye recalled advice from his trainer on recovering from setbacks. His trainer told him to stay down and rest when knocked down, re-strategize, and then stand up to show there is still strength left. Adeboye concluded by urging believers to persevere in prayer and faith, as God will renew their strength.
