Inoue Set for First-Up Win at Canterbury After Stable Switch

The single sharpest fact is that Inoue is primed for a first-up win at Canterbury after a stable switch. Trainer Richard Litt is leading the charge. Inoue won three of his 14 starts for Snowden, all at provincial level. He's booked Zac Lloyd to take the ride in the Hyland Race Colours Handicap (1100m) at Canterbury on Wednesday.

Litt is confident Inoue can succeed at the 1100m distance. "He loves soft ground, the 1100m looks really suitable," he said. "He's drawn well, the rail's out, Zac Lloyd's on and everything he touches seems to be running well. It looks like a good race for him, so I'm excited to kick him off." Litt added that his horses will improve in the next few runs, so whatever Inoue does, there will be huge improvement.

Litt is currently managing a number of horses, including classy filly Caffe Florian and two-year-old filly Wildfire. Wildfire is set to debut at Newcastle on Saturday after a recent trial win.

"She's a very nice filly, she's definitely a next preparation horse," Litt said.
