In a statement signed by Oluwaseun Boye on behalf of the group, they described Kitan as a peaceful, kind-hearted, and compassionate woman whose life was cut short in a cruel manner.

"Kitan was a peaceful, kind-hearted, and compassionate woman whose life was cut short in a cruel and senseless manner. She did not deserve such a painful end," the statement read.

The group commended the state police command, led by Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, for the steps taken so far in the investigation. They expressed optimism that the truth surrounding the incident would emerge and that those responsible would be held accountable.
