PH Hosts 44th Aseanapol Meet as PNP Boosts Regional Police Ties

The Philippines is currently hosting the 44th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Chiefs of National Police (Aseanapol) Conference, with a focus on boosting regional police ties and combating transnational crime.

According to PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., the conference offers an opportunity to deepen operational cooperation, share intelligence, and strengthen partnerships in addressing threats that cannot be solved by any single country.

The conference, attended by police chiefs and officials from 10 member-states, aims to enhance regional police cooperation and address the challenges posed by transnational crimes such as human trafficking, cybercrime, and terrorism.
