The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recently announced the results of the Master Plumbers Licensure Examination held in July 2026. A total of 4,907 out of 6,237 examinees passed the exam, which was conducted in 14 testing centers across the Philippines, including N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao. The PRC released the results in three working days after the last day of the examination.

The exam was administered by the Board for Master Plumbers, which is composed of Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz, Chairman; Hon. Jason Magos, Member; and Hon. Samuel M. Paete, Member. According to the PRC, starting September 1, 2026, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online.

The top ten performing schools in the July 2026 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination, as per Commission Resolution No. 1814 series of 2024, are as follows:

  • 373 passed out of 373 examinees (97.30% passing percentage)

2. Polytechnic University of the Philippines

  • 686 passed out of 686 examinees (97.06% passing percentage)

3. Central Philippine University

  • 343 passed out of 343 examinees (97.06% passing percentage)

4. University of Santo Tomas

  • 797 passed out of 797 examinees (96.20% passing percentage)

5. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila

  • 524 passed out of 524 examinees (94.23% passing percentage)

6. Pangasinan State University

  • 494 passed out of 494 examinees (93.88% passing percentage)

7. Cebu Technological University

  • Main (for CSCST) - 464 passed out of 464 examinees (93.48% passing percentage)

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online starting September 1, 2026. Examinees can register through the PRC website and follow the instructions provided.

The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later.

The successful examinees who passed the Master Plumbers Licensure Examination will be required to register with the PRC and obtain their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. They should also personally sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

A total of 10,000 exam slots were available for the Master Plumbers Licensure Examination, and 4,907 examinees passed the exam, which is a passing percentage of 78.93%. The successful examinees should prepare for their registration and oathtaking ceremony.
