A paragliding adventure in Anahawon, Valencia, Bukidnon, turned into a hilarious viral moment when a passenger panicked after her instructor jokingly claimed it was his first time flying.

The passenger, whose name has not been disclosed, was flying under a colorful, butterfly-patterned paragliding wing. She tried to start a conversation with the pilot, asking him how long he had been paragliding.

“Pila naka years ka nag yang ani ya?” she asked. (How many years have you been doing this?)

The instructor quipped, “Karon pa lang, ma’am.” (Just today, ma’am.)

The woman immediately screamed in panic.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on May 27, 2026, at around 10 am. The paraglide adventure was part of a promotional event in Valencia, Bukidnon, which attracted a large number of tourists.

The paragliding instructor, whose name was not disclosed, claimed that the passenger was already nervous before the flight. “She was very tense and kept asking questions about the safety procedures,” he said.
