ADC Slams APC's "Power Deployment" in Osun Election

The ADC has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his victory in the Osun State governorship election. The ADC has called on INEC to explain why the uploading of results on IReV was halted at about 8 pm when it became apparent that the APC was losing. The party claimed that the interruption lasted nearly four hours and demanded that INEC explain what happened. It warned that the delay could have been an attempt to tamper with the results or render the election inconclusive. Governor Ademola Adeleke, a popular musician from Osun State, won the election with 599,671 votes, defeating his closest challenger, Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola of the APC, who polled 375,027 votes. The election was a closely contested one, with several parties vying for power in the state.
