The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) Executives are in Ghana for a 7-day familiarisation tour, courtesy of Safari World. The trip, which kicked off on 17th July, seeks to expose the Nigerian travel industry leaders to the breadth of Ghana's tourism offerings.

Safari World, a leading tourism operator in Ghana, has worked tirelessly to penetrate the Nigerian market with its experiential tourism model. The company, through its marketing partners, Phamous Media Group, has effectively promoted the idea that Ghana is a mere 45-minute flight away, offering world-class tourism experiences without the need for a visa or long-haul flights.

The delegation will be visiting Safari World's three major destinations in Accra, Ada, and Dawu. They will experience Ghana's unique blend of hospitality, wildlife adventure, eco-tourism, marine recreation, dining, and lifestyle offerings. The visit aims to strengthen Safari World's presence in the Nigerian travel market while positioning Ghana as a leading destination for leisure, group travel, conferences, family holidays, and premium tourism experiences.

At the heart of Safari World's tourism push is its commitment to 'One World, Three Destinations, Over 20 Unique Experiences.' This promise speaks to the company's mission to provide a comprehensive and immersive tourist experience that showcases the best of Ghana.

The itinerary includes a stay at Safari Homes in Accra, a riverfront experience at Aqua Safari in Ada, and the Safari Island Cruise, Safari Eco Park, Safari Nautica, and Safari Recreation & Sports. A major highlight of the tour will be an Executive Dinner on 21st July at Safari Valley Eco Resort, where key stakeholders from the Ghanaian tourism industry will gather to discuss the future of intra-African travel.

For Mr Ernest Gyekye, Chairman of Safari Valley Eco Resort, this visit is a significant step in translating the vision of 'Africa for Africa' into action. 'We at Safari World are very excited to meet our Nigerian colleagues from NANTA,' he said. 'Throughout our discussions with the organisation, especially with the President, Dr Yinka, it has been encouraging to see that 'Africa for Africa' has remained a shared agenda for both parties.'

Safari World's efforts to promote intra-African travel have yielded impressive results. The company's integrated city, riverfront, and forest destinations have positioned it as one of Ghana's most comprehensive tourism brands. With this visit, Safari World is poised to drive further growth in the Nigerian travel market while strengthening Ghana's position as a leading destination for premium tourism experiences.
