You have until Sunday, August 23, to register for the supplementary Post-UTME screening exercise at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun. The university made this known in a statement issued by its Registrar, Dr E. Jane Omoyine. According to Omoyine, the supplementary screening is for candidates who missed the initial Post-UTME screening exercise held from July 21 to 25, 2026, as well as those seeking to change their institution of choice to FUPRE and participate in its admission process.

The supplementary screening provides prospective students with another opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations at a university focused on preparing graduates for the demands of a rapidly changing global economy, the statement added.

To qualify for the exercise, candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). They must also have selected FUPRE as their first-choice institution or completed the required Change of Institution to FUPRE process, possess at least five relevant O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings, and be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.

Recognised O'Level examinations include SSCE, NECO, GCE and NABTEB. The cost of the screening fee is ₦2,000. Candidates are required to complete their registration through the University's admission portal, https://utme.fupre.edu.ng.
