The giant Toulouse lock has played 16 Tests and faced the Wallabies in France but never in Australia. 'This is a unique experience for me,' Meafou said. 'I've never played professional rugby in Australia, so this is going to be a big test.'
Tom Staniforth, a Canberra-raised athlete, has also made a name for himself in French rugby. The former Brumby and Waratah has been playing for Castres since 2021 and has already made his Test debut for France last week against the All Blacks.
